Our next meeting will be the annual Train Trip. It is scheduled for Tuesday May 7th 2002.
This
years Trip will be sponsored by the BNSF and we will be departing
Corwith and going to Streator and returning as follows:
"Please arrange to arrive early their will be vans to
transport you from the parking area to the train."
Chicago (Corwith) Depart 0930 run to Joliet Union Station load passengers Depart approx.1030 continue to Streator Arrive 1215, run around train depart by 1305. Arrive Arsenal at 1400 back into Arsenal, BNSF Presentation on board depart 1445 arrive Joliet Union Station at 1520 detrain passengers Arrive Corwith at 1730.
Driving
Directions: To Corwith Yard:
From I-55, exit at Pulaski Ave. and go South to 41st St., turn left proceeding
East about 2 blocks until you enter the yard. Then turn left and follow
the access road, which will curve to the right, and proceed to the
Administration Building with the tower.
